Starting point: the formal corrections process began on 2026-08-12. Earlier page updates remain visible in the standards changelog, which is not a retrospective corrections register.
COR-2026-09-08-01: Instant Checkout announcement date
Corrected on . The Instant Checkout explainer, the ACP analysis and its five translations, protocol explanations, comparisons, glossaries and machine-readable summary presented 24 March 2026 as a precise shutdown date. The OpenAI announcement dates the shift toward product discovery and merchant checkout; it does not establish one universal technical shutdown date. We corrected that distinction and preserved the analyses' original publication dates.
COR-2026-09-07-01: AP2 Human Not Present
Reviewed on . The AP2 governance analysis and its five translations described Human Not Present as a third card-payment category. We corrected this to describe execution of a previously authorized payment without the user's participation at execution time. The Google announcement does not establish a new card-present classification or liability rule.
COR-2026-09-07-02: FIDO working-group leadership
Reviewed on . The descriptions and analysis listings in all six languages attributed Mastercard and Visa's chairing role to the FIDO Alliance as a whole. We narrowed this to its Payments Technical Working Group, as stated in the FIDO announcement. The original publication dates are preserved; the affected analyses now show their correction date separately.
