Our methodology
This is a fast-moving, technical space. Trust depends on being accurate and current. Here is exactly how we work.
Source hierarchy
Every factual claim is ranked by source quality, in this order: official protocol documentation and vendor announcements (OpenAI, Stripe, Google, Anthropic, Coinbase, Linux Foundation), then GitHub specifications, then reputable industry media for context only. We do not state a fact from a blog or a social post.
Dating and verification
Each standard page and the comparison carry a "last verified" date. When we check a fact against its primary source, we record the date. If a detail cannot be confirmed against a primary source, we mark it unverified rather than publish it.
What we will not do
- Invent statistics, quotes, partner names or adoption claims.
- List a company as a supporter without a primary source that names it.
- Publish review or rating schema we have not tested, or prices we cannot verify.
Corrections
Found something out of date or wrong? Tell us and we will fix it with a source. Standards evolve weekly; we would rather be corrected than stale. Contact us at [email protected].
